First edition. A lean to the spine, and a bit of toning to the extremities of the boards. Otherwise, a near fine copy. In a very good, unclipped dust jacket, with some shelf-wear, rubbing, and nicks. A 1.5 inch closed tear at the foot of the spine panel. An attractive, unrestored example. Golding’s first novel, and one of the most recognizable works in all of fiction.
